Have you ever experienced the “mean girl” voice in your head, especially when you’re moving to a new level of success? I definitely have. This mean girl voice is also called the Imposter Syndrome.
Imposter syndrome is the feeling like you’re a fraud, even when you’ve experienced success in the past. You feel like you can’t possibly be successful again or that people are going to see through your act. The Imposter Syndrome voice in our heads can prevent us from taking big and bold steps in our careers and personal lives. It can hold you back from speaking up, going for a promotion, or investing time and energy in ourselves. In short, it can keep us playing small.
During this episode, Kim Meninger, certified professional coach and owner of Your Career Success, and I talked about real-world tips on how we can start noticing the Imposter Syndrome and managing it. Definitely listen to this valuable show!
