Getting to a place where we can be at home in our skin can be quite the journey. During my conversation with Janelle Anderson, life coach and owner of Emerging Life Coaching, we talked about early trauma in her life that caused her shame and a feeling of not being good enough. Some of the traumas that Janelle shared include being raped in college, meeting a young man that lead her into prostitution, having an unwanted abortion, and more.
Her story of bravery and redemption is unbelievable. Through her stories, Janelle shares the winding road of her career, listening to her inner nudges for change and how she uses many different tools, including the Clifton Strengthsfinder and Enneagram assessments, to help her clients find confidence and move beyond imposter syndrome. Janelle talks about how this inner work can help us take center stage in our lives and careers so we can live with more freedom and ease.
