Welcome to the 18th episode of Brave Women at Work. We have a special guest on our show today, Nanci Wilson.
Nanci is known for having an outgoing personality with a knack for connecting with others. She applied to be a teller at a Credit union, all she knew was that she had been treated kindly and wanted to do that for others. After graduating from credit union education, Nancy quickly learned what it meant to feel the spark of when purpose and passion truly collide. She began to navigate the waters of advocating for herself and speaking the truth even when your voice shakes. Nancy is an advocate of cheering for others, kindness, empathy, and being brave enough to suck at something new.
Nanci will be talking about how she built her perfect job, the brave steps she took to get there, how we can ALL live the flawsome quality, and most importantly, why kindness is such a critical quality in leadership.
Many of the questions and topics covered during this episode relate to managing new levels in your career. Nanci speaks about not having to settle down or limiting your dreams, but thinking about where you want to be, chasing your heart’s burning desires, and just going for it. If you’re not an advocate for yourself, who’s gonna be?
